What I'm Watching ... Laws - "Momma Miss America"

Pretty dope 'collaboration' between Laws and Paul. This joint definitely hits. Check it.

Laws gives us a visual to his version of Sir Paul McCartney's Instrumental "Momma Miss America" from his 1970 album McCartney. The Laws version is on his Yesterday's Future Mixtape hosted by Mick Boogie & Don Cannon.

Laws - "Runaway"

Salutations and welcome to the first edition of The Mad Video Selection. We take 5 of the hottest videos and put them on display for your viewing pleasure. This week we had a hard time choosing who to select for our inaugural post. After some deliberation and a touch of Grey Goose, we finally cropped the list down to five. All of these videos are worth a watch or three. If you would like your video to be considered for this list email ReadBeanpie@gmail.com. Check out the rest of the videos after the jump. Enjoy!

Download ... Are You Listening (An Ear The The Streets) Hosted By DJ Burn One

I checked out the video they put together from the night they had this event and the artists on there musically caught my attention. Check out the video and see for yourself and if it peaked your interest, I suggest you download the mixtape.

On October 21, a lineup of the game's hottest up-and-comers assembled at the Lower East Side's Sapphire Lounge for DJBooth.net/Platform One/Vicarious Music-sponsored CMJ showcase Are You Listening?. For those who weren't able to make it down to NYC for the event, Vicarious Music has assembled an official highlight reel featuring Emilio Rojas, Laws, Phil Adé and countless other dope artists (Neako, Aleon Craft, Jon Hope, J The S, The ILLZ) who participated.

DJBooth.net has hooked up with DJ Burn One to give readers a taste of what to expect from this week’s Are You Listening? showcase (going down October 21, at L.E.S.’ Sapphire Lounge), in the form of a brand new preview mixtape.

The 21-track project compiles brand new/exclusive/unreleased records from all of the artists taking part in the Platform One/Vicarious Music/DJBooth.net-sponsored CMJ showcase, including headliner Emilio Rojas’ Yelawolf-assisted “Turn It Up” as well as reader-approved cuts by Sapient (”Universal Diorama”), the FameCity Boiz (”Give You More”) and The ILLZ (”Cover Me (I’m Going In)”).

Also featured on the project (and scheduled to perform Thursday night) are Laws, Phil Adé, Aleon Craft, The Kickdrums, Johnny Spanish, Neako, Sapient, J The S, Jon Hope, Intuition, Evil Ebenezer and The Chickarones.
