Jesse Abraham: I Am Water (Album Trailer)

I always say this about trailers but honestly, I don't traditionally fuck with them. The ones I do fuck with are the ones that really make me curious about the project or video. Jesse Abraham does that with his trailer to his upcoming album, I Am Water. I'm intrigued by the 55 second snapshot. Check the trailer and look out for the project in the fall.

Jesse Abraham "Parallels" Emilio Rojas & TreZure Empire

NYC emcee Jesse Abraham teams up with fellow New Yorkers Emilio Rojas and singer TreZure Empire on his new single produced by !llMind, off his upcoming I Am Water project. The proceeds from this single, as well as his full project will go towards servicing a developing country in need of clean drinking water. Jesse is also releasing a live album via DJBooth on Monday. In the meantime, enjoy Parallels. Chea!

Check It ... Political Animals, Roc Doogie, PremRock, and Jesse Abraham at Acoustic Cafe (Photos)

Acoustic Cafe was hosts to yet another round of talented artists hosted by Sketch tha Cataclysm on July 9th. For a whopping $5, you got to hear music by New York's own PremRock and Jesse Abraham as well as CT's Roc Doogie and Political Animals with guests like D_Cyphernauts, Hawl Digg, and Dirt E. Dutch making an appearance in the night's event. While enjoying the dope music throughout the night, I was in TMB mode snapping pics and got a few videos before I unfortunately ran out of space. Haha. Check it them out.

INSIDE THE MUSIC: Jesse Abraham "One Day"

I respect Jesse Abraham. He puts his all into his music. He has the uncanny ability to pick quality beats, the right type of features and his content is always on point. Last week with the help of DJBooth.net, Jesse offered up a new old project with One Day. I say new old because there are a few carry over tracks from his One Day EP dropped earlier this year. The additions to the project give it a nice well rounded feel. I dig it.

One Day features guest verses from Blu, Homeboy Sandman, Eric Sosa, Fresh Daily and others. On the production side the project features Panjabi MC, !llmind, K.O. Beatz, Spills, Jinesis and more.

When you hear a project, sometimes you really want to know what the artist was thinking when they put the project together. So, I reached out to Jesse with some questions about his latest offering. Check out our Q&A after the jump.

Jesse Abraham feat. Homeboy Sandman "Always & Forever"

I dig this Jesse Abraham track featuring NYC underground giant Homeboy Sandman. The K.O. Beatz produced track will be featured on Jesse's revamped One Day project, due out June 14th via DJBooth.net. Enjoy this cut in the meantime. Chea!

Jesse Abraham "The One Day EP"

One thing you can always expect from a Jesse Abraham track and project is high energy and wordplay. That's what you find on Jesse's latest, The One Day EP.

The project that dropped at the top of the month, features the single that initially didn't have a project, "Spiderman On Vitamins."A few weeks back Jesse dropped a pretty fresh video for the track.

In addition to Spiderman there are few features from the likes of Eric Sosa and Fresh Daily. Also alongside Jesse's wordplay are some fresh beats from Spills, Jinesis and a gang of tracks with K.O. Beatz behind the boards.

The One Day EP is a cool follow up to Jesse's Bars & Nobull. The one thing I always liked about Jesse's sound is the passion behind the lyrics.

My three favorite cuts, "One Day", "Life is a Free Throw" and "Ridiculous." Overall it's a fresh project. Hit play and enjoy.

Jesse Abraham - Best Buy In-Store Performance x The One Day EPK

Jesse Abraham is a cool guy. The first time we met in person was at a show in Bridgeport, CT. He was on the bill with Sketch Tha Cataclysm and Top $ Raz. Before our meeting on that cold Saturday night, I had posted a few of his tracks and videos.

I walked up to him and said, "what up Jesse?" We shook hands and he gave me the head nod and both of us went about enjoying the show.

It wasn't until two hours later that he realized who I was. He was sitting at a table with me, OC Supreme, Jessica Estevez of iHeartDilla.com and Top $ and was like, "wait, ya'll The Mad Bloggers? You're ThroatChopU?" I laughed and said yeah.

"I saw your business cards all over the place but didn't make the connection until right now," he said.

When you're covering folks on your blog and only talk via gchat, twitter and email, it's cool to finally meet in person. It was great to meet Jesse.

Jesse is one of those hardworking emcees that appreciates feedback and being heard. When I saw him a week or so ago at the Independent's Day Showcase, the first thing I did was thank him for coming out. We then proceeded to talk about much I enjoyed his latest video, "Spiderman On Vitamins." We talked a little about the cameos in the video and the kids and how personal the video felt. Since it was a cool video and I wanted to pass that on.

As I needed to turn my attention to some logistical details of the show, Jesse ended the convo with, "man, I really appreciate the feedback." And in typical form, I replied "no doubt."

I dig what Jesse Abraham does. Anyway, check out his Best Buy in store performance of "Spiderman On Vitamins" and "Yoga." Plus check out the bonus video for his upcoming The One Day EP. Enjoy. Chea!

What I'm Watching ... Jesse Abraham "Spiderman on Vitamins"

I posted the track yesterday and now I bring you the Noisemaker Media directed video for Jesse Abraham's "Spiderman On Vitamins", produced by Spills and off the upcoming One Day ep due to drop in March. Yeah, I fuks with this video. The energy of the video definitely matches that of the high paced track. Shouts to Warren Britt, Homeboy Sandman, YC the Cynic and others with the cameos. Good work Jesse! Chea!
