EVENT: Jedi Mind Tricks and La Coka Nostra (7/14)
For more than fifteen years, the name Jedi Mind Tricks has become synonymous with raw, gritty underground hip-hop. From their debut album, The Psycho-social, in 1996 to their seminal sophomore release, Violent By Design, to their musical expansion heard on Servants and Heaven, Kings in Hell, JMT has made an indelible impression on the independent music scene while arguably forging its own subgenre of rap.
La Coka Nostra is a hip-hop supergroup featuring members of House of Pain (Everlast, Danny Boy, and DJ Lethal), Non Phixion (Ill Bill),Special Teamz (Slaine), plus solo artist Big Left.

Jedi Mind Tricks, 7L & Esoteric and Blacastan @ Toad's Place
Yep! Caught yet another dope show at Toad's. This time, Jedi Mind Tricks came through to amp the hell out the crowd with track after track. They brought guests too. Blacastan returned for another quick set after popping through at the Apathy show. 7L & Esoteric was in the building to open up the show and didn't disappoint. They all definitely put it down for Hip-Hop. Check it out....
