Jass Bianchi - The Sponsor "HER" Campaign

Talented and creative emcee Jass Bianchi is trying to release her next project soon but this time, she'd like your help. You can read a little about here here and after you visit the site where she explains more on this project. Check it.

SONY told her to quit college, and loose weight.
Sean Combs said she should calm down her lyrics...

In an industry heavily influenced by masculinity, Jass Bianchi steps up to the plate. Her Debut Album H.E.R. is in response to legendary Chicago based rapper Common's 1994 hit "I used to love H.E.R."

This album will showcase the dexterity, beauty, and point of view of women both universally and within the realm of the hip-hop industry.

Your donation will be used to provide the proper mixing & mastering, recording, and live instrumentation needed to make the vision possible.

Both men and women often complain about the false representation/selective representation of women in the hip-hop industry. Now is your chance to change that.

Download ... Jass Bianchi - "Jassanova" (Free)

Got this joint a few days ago and played it 2 times straight the first time I heard it. Jass got skills. This album is extremely smooth sounding. Check for yourself.

The story behind this album is quite real. For the intent of purely showcasing what the reality of hip-hop is behind the scenes, I've decided to leave out names with the purpose of allowing the viewer to understand what the Raw and Uncut movement really means.

On Thursday, October 14th, Jessica Estevez of iheartdilla.com and Q and I of TheMadBloggers.com joined forces to host a show for four independent acts that are doing big things in music. It was our first show of many that we will be holding once a month at Southpaw and the night was successful. Filled with dope Hip-Hop artists, great music provided by DJ Wayne Ski, really cool crowd and all. If you couldn't make it to the show, you definitely missed a fun night. Hope to see you at the next one. Much love and respect to Brokn.Englsh, DJ Wayne Ski, Gramz, Jass Bianchi, TreZure and everyone else who came out to perform and support. Check the pics out after the jump.

I got a chance to check out more from what the Family Tree Music Group has to offer musically with their second annual Toast N' Flow held in Danbury, CT last Saturday. It was a mix of 1920's jazz, burlesque, and up to date Hip-Hop. Variety indeed. Jass Bianchi and company put together a pretty interesting night with performances by Miss Cherry and The Big Tent Jazz Band, d_Cyphernauts, Rising Sun Quest, Noodle, LaRue & The Movement Band, ZMO, DJ Mecca, Jass Bianchi and a few others. Check out the pics from the night.

Yeah, New York, New York! As you know the crew was (still is) in New York for the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival on Saturday, July 10 (pics coming soon). While part of the crew was over at South Paw for the BHF after party, O and I trooped over to catch Jass Bianchi's video screening of "Late Bloomer", featuring live performances from Rising Sun Quest, Sketch Tha Cataclysm, Realest Reeken and others. Plus some dope art and great food. Yeah, GREAT evening. We'll have the "Late Bloomer" video up as soon as it's available, in the meantime check the flicks!
