A good friend of mine, Jon Bivens, gave me numerous vinyl records before he passed away. After 3 years, I finally dusted them off from the place that they have been sitting for those years. Amongst the 50 something records I found a couple of albums from the 70's group Creative Source. I decided to chop the ones I felt could work. This is what came of it. Enjoy. -Haz Solo

This project came about by me asking Maiya to send me a mix of songs that I could sample to produce a beat tape. She was super down! She actually had a mix ready for me within a few days. #latepass: Supper Club "Spirit Cove Edition"

Super late pass on this one. SUPER LATE! I kinda blame gmail for not letting me be great or perhaps it's my inability to stay organized sometimes with the clutter of my inbox. Regardless, this joint is dope. This project hit the Internets at the top of the year as part of an artist retreat project including Dylan Thomas, Charles English, Haz Solo, Jason Jones, Victor Yañez-Lazcano and Miguel Rodriguez, collectively known as The Supper Club. The concept of getting away to create has always been a dope one. I definitely appreciate what they did with this project too. Check It (4/8/11): Bandana x Signif and More

Bandana x Signif, Signif x Haz Solo x Phil G, Bandana x A-Tone x Lynk. Three tracks, and they feature either Signif or Bandana. Signif, she's no stranger to TMB readers but this is Bandana Showgunn first run on the blog. That's kind of odd considering our run through Milwaukee for the Journey to Hip-Hop Series. Not sure how we missed him but the dude has some dope music. Anyway, check out three fresh cuts.

The First is Bandana x Signif. As Signif writes, "I dropped this verse for Dana over a year ago!! He finally let it go after a couple other artist never laced it. Dana always scorches “ish”, he’s one of my favorite emcees from MKE."
