Six months ago with an unused beat from Moteleola this whole journey begin. The beat had been kicking around and then a lightbulb went off above my head and for the last six months I've been piecing this whole thing together. Finally I'm able to give you the incredible Aretha Franklin sample driven beat tape featuring some of my favorite beat makers from the US and UK. Check It ... Tiron "The 1ne" (Prod. by HPthaHyprid)

Damn, I dig this track. Tiron kills the verses and HP does his thing on the production. This is the lead track off of ktcHPmstrd, HPthaHyprid's remix project of Tiron's-MSTRD. It's dope. Look for the project to drop late March, early April. In the meantime enjoy "The 1ne." Chea!

Check It ... Killah Trakz "Scrunchface Music" (Prod. HPthaHybrid)

The homie HP is a talented producer. A few months back he put out a project called The Purge. Basically a collection of some unused beats. Since then, a lot of those tracks have found a home, including the upcoming collaboration with Boston rapper HW for his #RapLife project. HP hit me up a day ago with another track used from that beat tape. Check out the  Killah Trakz joint. It's pretty dope.

A pretty dope collabo... Little story behind this joint the beat was on my first beat project "The Purge" months before I dropped "The Purge" I gave Killah Trakz the beat I didn't think he was gonna ever do anything with it so I put the beat on The Purge. Last week I get a tweet from Killah Trakz like I'm recording to Scrunchface. Oh word... When I heard the finished joint I thought this is the reason I gave the beat to him in the first place. A lot of these joints are just cool to chill to and a gang of them I'd love to hear someone flow over. Check out the new old project from the homie HP Tha Hybrid. I challenge someone to rhyme over "Deetwa Bound" or "Kewl Depression." Those two are among my favorites. But do your thing over any track and be sure you hit up the homie HP when you're done.

The premise behind "The Purge" is progression. In order to move on in my growth as a musician I felt it made sense for me to cleanse my hard drive. "The Purge" is a collection of beats made between the period of 2007-2009 that were unused, unfinished, and unappreciated. I figured instead of hoarding these beats for myself another 3 years why not let people hear it. This is my gift to all the artists that are looking for quality production but don't have the money to purchase the production.
