Koncept ''Give It Up'' feat. Reks
Koncept's new EP drops February 26th, produced entirely by fellow Brown Bag AllStar DeeJay Element. Peep a bonus track that didn't make the cut for Malt Disney but dope nonetheless.

NEW RELEASE: Soul Khan "Wellstone"
I have every project Soul Khan has put out since Soul Like Khan. For me, it's a no brainer to cop whatever Soul Khan is pushing because he's built the reputation for putting quality where his mic is (pause? Ha). He's the king of EPs, dropping three last year and partnering up with DJBooth to drop his first of the year. With production from fellow Brown Bag AllStar member Deejay Element, Soul Khan serves up the quality Hip-Hop he's become known for on Wellstone. Enjoy. Chea!

Soul Khan "Wellstone" feat. Akie Bermiss (Prod. by Deejay Element)
"In a historical moment fraught with inequality, war and oppression, we could use a few more politicians like Paul Wellstone, a U.S. Senator from the state of Minnesota whose legacy of genuine populism and grassroots action still resonates with civically-engaged idealists a decade after his tragic death in a 2002 plane crash." -DJBooth.net
Soul Khan is one of my favorite emcees. He's so dynamic and dope. Honestly, I haven't met a Soul Khan track I didn't like, and the title cut Wellstone off of his new EP is no different. There's so much depth to his music. Look out for the EP via DJBooth.net on March 12th. In the meantime enjoy the Akie Berniss assisted Deejay Element produced cut. Chea!

Soul Khan performs "Speeding Bullets" LIVE at Arlene's Grocery, NYC
Soul Khan performs "Speeding Bullets" LIVE at Arlenes Grocery, NYC from BarrelhouseBKLYN on Vimeo.
I wish I was in town for this Soul Khan performance at Arlene's Grocery the other night. Good thing the fine folks from barrelhousebklyn.com were in the building to catch some footage from Khan's set. Shouts to Akie Bermiss on backup vocals and DeeJay Element. Enjoy. Chea!
