I remember when I was first introduced to Chels music. There was something raw within those early tracks that was sent over. Underneath it all, I knew there was a great deal of talent. You could definitely hear that on her True School For The Moon Children project. And you can hear/see that in the visuals for The Lesson featuring Ace Boogie. I dig it. Enjoy the music. Chea!

NEW RELEASE: Chels "True School For The Moon Children"

When I heard Chels on her new single The Lesson featuring Ace Boogie, I knew she had grown musically since first checking out her music last year. The 20-year-old New Orleans female emcee starts the first quarter of the new year off strong with a new project True School For The Moon Children. After personally being endorsed by Erykah Badu and Amanda Seales (formely Diva), she's out to prove she's got the talent and bars to match. Definitely a project worth checking out. Enjoy.

I remember the first time I heard Chels. I thought she was cool and had some potential. But there was something missing. I was very honest with her team about this. So, that's why it's so cool to see such growth in her newest cut featuring Ace Boogie off of her upcoming True School For The Moon Children (TSFTMC) project. The Lesson is exactly the potential I heard in the 19-year-old New Orleans emcee and it's dope to hear that's she's really finding and exploring her voice. I dig it. Solid cut. Chea!
