When people ask how my interview was with a certain artist, my most common answer is that they are down to earth, humble, cool, etc. In my interview with Stalley just by watching you can tell how confident, focused, and yes humble he is.
We talked about his hometown of Massillion, Ohio, why he chose to align himself with Maybach Music Group, the joy he gets performing as an artist on the come up and much more.
It’s the summer time and if you have a car you most likely are listening to music that BUMPS in the trunk. There is a good chance if you are ’stunting’ in your car you aren’t listening to the most lyrical song. That’s where Stalley comes in, Intelligent Trunk Music was the concept behind his last EP and he has turned into a whole genre. Find out more about Intelligent Trunk Music by watching the interview.
From talking about inspirational quotes, the upcoming album The Crystal Meth, and why he doesn’t want to been seen as a pothead. I was really excited to sit down with Method Man, right after his exhilarating performance.
It’s a beautiful thing when Classified is your hype man and repeating the slogan, “This is The Come Up Show. Where That Feel Good Music Lives. Real Recognize Real.” This must be interview number 35092148932 and this time around Class breaks down why he chose the title Handshakes and Middle Fingers for his album. The struggle to smoke up or not, how his wife introduced him to Mary Jane and why he thought he was a one hit wonder. As always we got some superb live footage of That Ain’t Classy show at the London Music Hall.
It’s safe to say Kidz In The Hall LOVE Canada and why wouldn’t they? They opened up for Classified all across Canada for That Ain’t Classy Tour. In our interview they tell me about our Canadian women, new reality show, and a big change in how people perceive them musically. Birthday boy Mic Boyd makes an appearance to brag about their paintball competition win against Classified team.
I didn’t know until I was at the show but Mickey Factz was opening for Bun-B in the Trill OG tour. Factz told me about the debut album The Achievement, he called it a celebratory album, encouraging listeners to follow their dreams, hopes, and aspirations. Mickey Factz is truly chasing his dreams and since he came from nothing, he also discusses what keeps him motivated.
The homie Chedo chops it up with Pharoahe Monch and Mac Miller in recent interviews for The Come Up Show. Chedo stays on his interview grind. Salute! Enjoy the interviews.
Another fresh interview from our north of the boarder fam, Chedo of TheComeUpShow.com. He recently caught up with G.O.O.D. Music's own Big Sean while he was in Toronto. Cool interview. Enjoy.
I caught this J. Cole interview in an email from the homie Chedo over at the Come Up Show. "He is one of my favorite new artists and I am really excited to see him go far," Chedo said. "The Warm Up in my opinion is one of the best mixtapes I have heard, music with feeling as I like to call it."
Chedo had the opportunity to interview J.Cole while he was in London, Ontario opening up for the Blueprint 3 concert. Check out the full interview over at TheComeUpShow.com.
