Keno - "Get Down" (Prod. By RU)
Back to the swing of things in this new year with a brand new, straight heat rock with Keno on the mic sounding hungrier than a mug. He murders an older beat, "frknjst getdwn", by Ru's beat tape titled "Rappers Jst Rap Onit". Hearing this beat, I can easily see why Keno felt the need to jump on it and he did not disappoint. Dude's a problem. Don't say I didn't try telling you. Check it!

Devine Carama - "Glorious Dartz & Soundscapes" (Prod. by Eianjay of Beat Addictz) / "Believing In Forever" (Album)
Devine released his album recently and if you copped the physical copy, there were two bonus tracks he threw on it. He was cool enough to hit us up with one of them here, which only strengthens the sound of what already is a good album. So yeah, check this out and then peep the album after the jump.
Devine Carama's Thoughts on Believing In ForeverFollow the madness: twitter.com/TheMadBloggers_
"Believing In Forever is a motivational speech to young MCs coming into the game. In this instant gratification generation that often forgets it's linage and those that laid the path before them, this album is a reminder to them that integrity wins in the end. The theme of this album goes beyond the scope of just a rapper's plight. We all often struggle between our passion and getting paid, what we love and making a living, our purpose and our priorities. Just trying to balance it all out. But at the end of the day if you stay true to your culture, your craft, your purpose, and give your all you WIN regardless of the outcome. This album is about not investing in things that are temporary but rather believing in forever."

Apollo Brown & Ras Kass - "Giraffe Pussy" feat. Royce Da 5'9", Xzibit & Bishop Lamont
This is going to be yet another dope project coming out of the Mello Music Group umbrella. Apollo Brown is guaranteed incredible and hard hitting in the production area and Ras Kass is a veteran beast on the mic. They added Royce, Xzibit, and Bishop to this track and made it that much more explosive. Can't wait for "Blasphemy".
"Today the fresh team of Apollo Brown & Ras Kass are joined by a legendary cast of Royce The 5’9”, Xzibit, & Bishop Lamont. The new single, Giraffe P*ssy, brings together the distinguished MCs to showcase their abilities over sixteen bars a piece. The vocalists get high over an Apollo Brown beat, who’s filtered tone and syncopated bounce will have your head nodding as high as..."

The Regiment - "Always On Go" / "S.O.U.L." (Prod. by Sinitus Tempo)
More new music for me. Could be for you too. You know you love it!
The Regiment have teamed up with graphic designer RF3RD to create a new project which merges 2 of the 5 elements of Hip Hop: MCing and Graffiti. The new project, S.O.U.L. (Sound Of Us Living), is one of the first to utilize our new platform -- HiPNOTT Certified, an outlet of HiPNOTT which allows us to showcase specific brands represented or sponsored by the label. HiPNOTT Certified, over the coming months, will bond with and promote individuals/brands within the industry such as graphic artists, DJs, videographers, and clothing designers. It allows us to focus on other aspects of the industry and push the HiPNOTT brand even further. Check out RF3RD's HiPNOTT Certified page and biography here.
Every Friday at the beginning of each month, The Regiment will release a track from S.O.U.L. along with original artwork from RF3RD. Here's the second cut, "Always On Go", produced by Sinitus Tempo.

Typ-iLL - "100 Dollar Bill" (Prod. by Sick Luke)
I love hearing music from artists I haven't heard of that gets my head nodding off the first track I hear from them. This Typ-iLL joint does exactly that. Check out what he has to say about the track and hit play. See what you think.
"People complain that pro athletes make a lot of money" said Patrick Ewing, "but what they don't understand is that we need a lot of money because we spend a lot of money," he concludes. The quote may be attributed to the world of sports, but the crossover to the music industry isn't a long shot. While there's nothing wrong with getting together with the homies and spitting a few bars, Long Island's Typ-iLL understands that in order to be successful in the rap game, you need to treat your talents like a business. But with the money comes the problems that can arise from becoming successful; bitter people who ride your coattails for a chance to make it big and use you as a stepping stone for your own agenda. "100 Dollar Bill" has Typ-iLL getting his Scarface on--starting from a humble beginning to envisioning his future empire and the steps he'll take in order to own the world. Over a crisp, head nodding beat from Sick Luke, iLL drops a series of hardbody bars that'll get you motivated to get on your grind. For more banging boom bap joints, peep iLL's 'Turning Point' EP, which is now available!

Devine Carama - "Priory Of The Rhyme Pocket" (Prod. by Enter The Cosmos)
Check out Devine's latest joint from his upcoming "Believing In Forever" album.
Devine Carama's Thoughts:
"I wanted to kind of put rappers on notice with this jawn. My first 2 singles had more of a musical purpose and direction, but I know my core fan base enjoys it when I just RAP. So this record is for them to let them know there will be plenty of that on the album as well. It's also frustrating hearing rappers get older and/or lazy and start falling out of the rhyme pocket. I just feel staying in pocket is a huge element of rhyming. So I tried different flows within the pocket."

Allen Poe - "Shrines From Dust" (Prod. by Amerigo Gazaway)
Poe's 3rd Single from his next record "How Gardens Grow" due to release in October. Should be a pretty good project. I'm definitely anticipating adding it to my rotation.
"This goes to MCs who didn't hop in and out of 'rap'. Holding Hip-Hop in a higher regard, allowed them to ride out the highs and lows of creating, respecting it as a craft helped them to build something from very little." - Allen Poe
How Gardens Grow will release mid October, more details on the release coming soon. S/O Amerigo Gazaway on the production and PJ Katz on the mix/master.

Boyz II Men - "Underwater + Diamond Eyes + Better Half + Losing Sleep"
Taking a different approach to their usual style of music, Shawn, Wanya, and Nathan embark in a sort of unique directions with their upcoming album "Collide" set to October 21st. A part of me wishes for the days they collaborated with Babyface when they made them timeless, classic R&B joints. But that's just my personal preference. Check out their latest 4 tracks off the album right here and tell us what you think.
"The experimental album, described as a fusion of rock, pop and funk with classic R&B, has "a very big sound" Stockman says. It's "a landmark album for us not only because it contains some new stylistic elements, but also because it is a reflection of exactly who we are now."
