Koncept's new EP drops February 26th, produced entirely by fellow Brown Bag AllStar DeeJay Element. Peep a bonus track that didn't make the cut for Malt Disney but dope nonetheless.
After a few singles, the Audible Doctor of The Brown Bag AllStars drops off his new FREE EP featuring Elzhi, Von Pea, Wise Intelligent, Chuuwee, Blacastan and more. Yeah, this is a solid project. Turn this up! Enjoy the music. Chea!
The Audible Doctor is that dude. Seriously. With the final leak off of his upcoming ep I Think That..., due out next week, The Audible Doctor represents on both the verses and production. Hit play and blast Andy Kaufman Theory. Chea!
It's dope how these guys make moves individually but they always come back to create some great stuff collectively. Another track from their recent Brown Label 2 EP project. Featuring Akie Bermiss, Pace Rivers directs the J57 produced track. Enjoy. Chea!
I'm having one of those days. I've listened to a gang of quality tracks today but nothing really moved me to want to log on and post. That was until I heard (((((Resonate))))). During that first listen for me, it did just that, resonated. Off of the upcoming free EP I Think That..., our West Coast homie Chuuwee joins in on the self produced Audible Doctor cut. Yeah, this is just the track I needed. Enjoy. Chea!
The Brown Bag AllStars return with the lead single / video from their upcoming Brown Label Pt 2. With 406, Brown Bag pays tribute to Fat Beats. As some might know, that's where the collective met and formed their crew. It's always dope to pay homage to where you've been as you prepare for where you're going. And BBAS continues to go and make their mark with the music. Hit play and enjoy the Photo Rob directed and Civil Productions edited vid and look out for Brown Label Pt 2 September 4th at BrownBagAllStars.com. Chea!
This is for us, by us. They don't support, they illegally download and they tell you that they bought it.
I can see this joint relating to a lot of artists I know personally. Folks gotta get back to buying them albums and hitting up the shows when they're giving you quality music. Word up.
"The Audible Doctor (of The Brown Bag AllStars) and Von Pea (of Tanya Morgan) have teamed up over marink's soulful production to bring you "F.U.B.U", the newest leak off Audible Doctor's upcoming FREE EP. The Full EP titled "I Think That..." is set to drop September 25th."
NYC producer/emcee J57 dropped off two projects today over at J57music.com. Go check and cop those. But in the meantime, peep the vid for Days Still Turn to Night featuring his crew Brown Bag AllStars and Andrew Thomas of Recess/TheClubhouse, with cuts from BBAS' own DJ Element. I see these dudes out there trying to get that Oscar award in the Pace Rivers directed video. Ha!
The Brown Bag AllStars' J57, who is gearing up to drop two EPs (2057 and The Ports) on May 22nd, serves up another solid track featuring longtime collaborator Sene. Sene kills lyrically on Four Finger Ringers, which is just under a minute and a half. This cut is off of The Ports. Looking forward to hearing more. In the meantime, enjoy this track. Chea!
Take over a bodega, film a video. I dig it. Check out the latest from the Brown Bag AllStars from M-Phazes' remix producer compilation Phazed Out. Enjoy. Chea!
I have every project Soul Khan has put out since Soul Like Khan. For me, it's a no brainer to cop whatever Soul Khan is pushing because he's built the reputation for putting quality where his mic is (pause? Ha). He's the king of EPs, dropping three last year and partnering up with DJBooth to drop his first of the year. With production from fellow Brown Bag AllStar member Deejay Element, Soul Khan serves up the quality Hip-Hop he's become known for on Wellstone. Enjoy. Chea!
New music from BBAS UK affiliate Jefferson Price. Both cuts produced by J57 off of Price's upcoming EP. Price goes at it solo on They Follow and is joined by J57, Koncept and Audible Doctor on Persistence. Both solid tracks. Enjoy.
They Follow (prod. by J57)
Persistence feat. J57, Koncept and Audible Doctor (prod. by J57)
It's always cool to see a producer creating. It's similar to watching a graphic designer design, a painter paint, a model undressing ... wait. What? Ha! Anyway, J57 emcee/producer of the Brown Bag AllStars invites us into the lab through CrateStream as he creates what is being called Aqua. Definitely a solid beat. Sheesh. Look for this joint on the BBAS LP due out in the Fall. Maybe a sneak peak soon? Maybe.
After a leak frenzy last week, the Brown Bag AllStars serve up the 2DopeBoyz presented The Brown Label EP, part 1. With skits from DJ Premier, up and coming comedian Jermaine Fowlerand and two new bonus remixes from Audible Doctor and J57, I dig it and you should too. Enjoy. Chea!
At this rate we might have the EP before the EP drops on Monday. Ha! Kin, featuring Akie Bermiss with production from Audible Doctor, is the latest track from Brown Label due out February 13th. Another banger. Sheesh.
