Motel Eola "Kids Looking For Gold"

"This instrumental project is about youthfulness, inspiration & the pursuit of happiness versus harsh reality. Kids Looking For Gold is my metaphor for our generation of individuals. We are all in search of our own "Gold" whether it be physical material possessions, the notion of success, or the achievement of our wildest dreams. Along this Journey for our "Gold" we may forget who we once were, conform to the norm, submit to defeat or accept "reality". As "Kids" we were forever optimistic, imaginative & experimental. The more we grow up the more we set aside our dreams as if the countdown of our life on earth is ever decreasing, leaving not enough time for us to do what we yearn for. No, we are dream chasers, creators and forever young at heart. We are Kids Looking For Gold." -Motel Eola

Jinesis "DooWah"

I'll let Jinesis intro this one.
When it comes to beatmakers, we share a common chord and that's digging. Nothing feels better than coming across a rare record that you heard flipped. There's an unspoken challenge to flip it differently. Even the artwork speaks to you. So as I started chopping this Teddy Pendergrass (Easy, Easy, Got to Take It Easy) sample, I had that nagging suspicion that someone had flipped this sample already, but I couldn't pinpoint who. So after I flip the sample I went on whosampled.com to find out who had used it and it turns out Little Brother used it for "Not Enough ft. Darien Brockington" and Cali Agents used for "Close to Cash".  I gave both records a listen, and they both did a great job but I feel I flip it better, as any beatmaker would say. Take a listen to my version, tell me what your thoughts are! Thank you, Enjoy -Jinesis.

NEW RELEASE: Jinesis "The Sun Shines Through"

Release dates are over rated. Ha! Just a week after dropping Each Day, We Shine and a few hours after releasing Forever, Jinesis decided to unleash his new project in full. I've had the pleasure of rocking with The Sun Shines Through prior to the release and believe me when I tell you, this is some of Jin's finest work. He lays out the perfect summer vibe with the EP, further establishing his sound and showcasing his production work. Hit play and enjoy. Chea!

We often wonder why certain individuals might seem to be successful while we're often struggling to find our place in life. Introspective questioning on where we're failing. Perspective will show however that it's not necessarily that we are doing anything wrong, it's just that our time hasn't come yet. The people you see wining, the sun is shining on them for that moment. We should take it as the Sun is behind us and hasn't caught up to us yet, our turn is soon to come once the sun catches up to us. This EP is a reflection of me creating and working towards when my turn comes. "The Sun Shines Through" is a sunbeam highlighting my creative process. Thank you. Enjoy - Jinesis

Jinesis "Each Day, We Shine" feat. Lex Sandler

"The beat is a representation of an individual catching a moment of shine during a specific time of day. It could be any day of the week. When that moment is upon you, take advantage by being free and expressing yourself to the world." -Jinesis

Jinesis gave me a sneak peek of his new project a week ago. Impressive. Each Day, We Shine featuring Lex Sandler is one of the standout instrumentals from his The Sun Shines Through EP. It's just something about the vibe that Jin puts together that I can't help but enjoy. I'm sure you'll feel the same way. Hit play and enjoy the music. Chea!

Motel Eola "We Three Kings"

I keep telling folks to keep an eye on this kid. The 19-year-old South East London producer Motel Eola drops another solid instrumental in We Three Kings. Dude decided to sample the Ella Fitzgerald Christmas themed classic and made it into a banger. This cut didn't make his debut Kids Looking for Gold but he wanted to share regardless. BEATS: LMNtlyst "Popcorn Earworm"

I caught this project from Milwaukee producer LMNtlyst a few days back. I'm definitely feeling the vibe on the Popcorn Earworm. I dig it. Enjoy the beats.
LMNtlyst is a multi-instrumentalist/producer/engineer that has crafted some extremely versatile and interesting compositions/beats and arranged them into this unique opus, Popcorn Earworm. He utilizes a legion of instruments to organize his musical army. Women and children take cover, the assault is imminent. You will hear expected instruments like bass, guitar, drum machines and turntables. You will then be surprised by a sneak attack of sounds from kalimba, melodica, squeezebox, ukulele, toy piano, iPhone and many other exotic noisemakers. The title, Popcorn Earworm, comes from the LMNtlyst's knack for making cinematic music that could fit perfectly on any movie score but has enough Pop flavor to get stuck in your ear and have you humming it all day.
