If you don't know about Asylum Lifetime and his producer Sherm LaRock, get to work. This Hip-Hop duo out of Connecticut has been putting in hard work for some years now and is easily noticeable in their latest effort titled "Political Asylum". This gritty project includes features by other CT residents in Blacastan, Correct 1, ColomBeyond, and more. Production off this album is reminiscent of the mid 90s, in my opinion, with lyrics that compliment them. This album is one that's unique to what I hear coming out of this state and one you might appreciate as I do. Asylum is an amazing Lyricist. The things that are said have substance, and can be said without flat out saying something. (METAPHORS) The album is good from intro to last song. The beats are epic. DJ. Sherm la Rock Definitely took his time making everything sound amazing.
