TELL 'EM WHY YOU MAD: The Way it Shouldn't Be...

Word has it that Keyshia Cole's BET reality series "The Way It Is" won't be back for another season, yet her mom Frankie and sister Neffe may be coming back for a spin off series on the network. Apparently the show will focus on the growth and independence of the ridiculous mother-sister duo. Shoot me. Black Entertainment Television fails to put positive networking on television time and time again. While Frankie and Neffe are hilarious and their antics ridiculous to watch, they set black women back decades with their ignorance.

Memo to BET ... make better programming decisions. Seems like the only DVDs they own are Color Purple, Lean on Me and Soul Plane and then they offer crap like Hell Date and College Hill as their original programming. Damn, remember the days of Video Soul and Teen Summit?

Decline ... sad.

  1. You would think BET would be smart and pick up the black sitcoms that CW and other networks have put down. The Game, Everybody Hates Chris ... Hell, even TV1 showed the rest of Daybreak (which was an amazing show) ... Its like BET is this ridiculous load of bullshit now that no one takes seriously. I watch BETJ and TV1 ... BET can kiss my ass.

  2. Truth is that BET I think is in the business of playing it's own people. Where did Teen Summit go? Video Soul? They should be picking up The Game, Everybody Hates Chris and the Cosby Show should be on at least once per day. No need to go down the negative reality tv show route like other cable networks. That's what happens when you sell your dream to Viacom. Sad.
